Cal Water celebrated its 100th Anniversary in Salinas with a free customer appreciation event at the National Steinbeck Center. Customers, employees, and community members came together for an evening of family-friendly activities, complimentary food and refreshments, and special anniversary fun in the heart of downtown Salinas.

Attendees enjoyed the Kids Zone, connected with friends and neighbors, and participated in a community passport activity by visiting Cal Water resource stations. Along the way, they met members of the Cal Water team and learned more about water conservation, water quality, infrastructure investments, customer assistance programs, and other customer services.

Customers who completed their passport were entered for a chance to win a brand-new, water-efficient washing machine, while a Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce mixer brought local business and community leaders together as part of the celebration.
